Bob hasn't been seen in Milliways much lately. Now that Mairi can crawl as well as fly, she's twice as much of a handful, and her father hasn't been able to find much time to spend by himself.

Of course, he could always bring Mairi in with him... but given recent developments, he's not sure that's a good idea anymore.

In the UK, it is a legal requirement that all of life's hazards are accompanied by bright yellow or orange signs. Like 'Danger', or 'Livestock crossing' or 'Road may be wet when raining'.*

Rai wends her way into the Bar, pulled by a vague feeling that she's needed. When she sees that no one is standing behind the gleaming wood, she darts through the passthrough and leans her elbows on the Bar to think about what she wants to serve. She can smell Autumn coming and that gives her the idea.

A week ago, Dot Matrix's maternity leave ended and she went back to work. Bob has, accordingly, shifted functions to be a stay-at-home dad to Mairi, save for when he's on Game duty or Tear patrol.
